- 1 bunch asparagus
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 0.5 tsp. salt
- 0.5 tsp. black pepper
- 0.5 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp. nutritional yeast
- Lemon wedges to serve
Instructions
- Wash the asparagus and pat dry. Trim off the woody ends.
- In a bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and nutritional yeast.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400F (200C) for 4 minutes.
- Lay the seasoned asparagus in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until tender and slightly crispy.
- Serve immediately with a squeeze of lemon juice.
Notes
- Thicker asparagus stalks may require a slightly longer cooking time.
- Ensure asparagus is in a single layer for even cooking.
- For crispier asparagus, cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
