- 1/4 cup Nutritional Yeast
- 1/4 cup Cornstarch
- 1/2 cup Water
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Granulated Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 14 ounces Super Firm Tofu
- 1/2 cup BBQ Sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure crispy texture.
- Mix the nutritional yeast, cornstarch, water, soy sauce, granulated garlic, and onion powder in a bowl until smooth.
- Break the super firm tofu into bite-sized chunks and fold into the paste until fully coated.
- Arrange the coated tofu on a lined baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes until crispy.
- Toss baked tofu with BBQ sauce until coated, then return to baking sheet.
- Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to caramelize the BBQ sauce.
