Description
Quick and easy cinnamon rolls made with Bisquick, featuring a delicious cinnamon and sugar filling that melts in your mouth.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups Bisquick mix (Use gluten-free Bisquick for a gluten-free version.)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup milk (Almond or oat milk can be used for a dairy-free option.)
- 1/4 cup melted butter (Coconut oil or vegan butter can be substituted.)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup icing sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk (Adjust for desired consistency.)
Instructions
- Gather all the ingredients and preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick mix and sugar. Stir well until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add in the milk and melted butter, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- If the dough feels too wet, sprinkle a little extra Bisquick mix until you reach the perfect consistency.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread melted butter over the surface of the dough, then sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar evenly across.
- Starting from the long edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log, pinching to seal the edge.
- Slice the log into 1-inch pieces and place them on a greased baking sheet, leaving space between each roll.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Mix the icing sugar with 1-2 tablespoons of milk until smooth.
- Adjust milk to achieve desired icing consistency.
- Drizzle the cooled rolls with icing and serve warm.
