  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
  • Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the macaroni until al dente. Steam or blanch the broccoli until tender. Drain both and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually add milk, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Season with garlic powder, mustard powder, salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer until thickened, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese until melted.
  3. Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the cheese sauce, stirring to coat. Pour into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top, if desired.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling. Remove from oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
