Ingredients

- 200 g linguine
- 200 g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1–2 pieces red chillies, chopped (Adjust based on heat preference)
- 400 g canned tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- to taste Salt and pepper
- for garnish Fresh basil
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients: linguine, prawns, garlic, chillies, canned tomatoes, and olive oil.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add the linguine, and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
- Add minced garlic and chopped chillies, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Introduce the prawns to the pan and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in canned tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, then simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Toss the cooked linguine into the pan with the sauce, stirring until well coated.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen it.
- Plate the pasta and garnish with fresh basil before serving hot.
