Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, for melting and dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and peanut butter until smooth.
  3. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar, then beat until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  7. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
  8. Gently flatten each cookie ball.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden brown.
  10. Let cookies cool on baking sheets for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Melt semisweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  12. Dip each cooled cookie halfway into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  13. Place dipped cookies on a wire rack or parchment paper and let the chocolate set completely.
