Ingredients

  • 12 tablespoons honey
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients: water, cinnamon stick, honey, and lemon.
  2. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, add the cinnamon stick.
  4. Lower the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. While the cinnamon steeps, measure out 1-2 tablespoons of honey and squeeze the juice from half a lemon into a separate small bowl.
  6. After simmering, remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the honey and lemon juice.
  7. If desirable, strain the tea to remove the cinnamon stick.
  8. Pour the tea into your favorite mug and enjoy it warm.
