Crispy Air Fryer Rice Paper Rolls are a light yet satisfying snack, bursting with flavor in every bite.

- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce or tamari/shoyu (Use tamari for gluten-free.)
- 2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine (Dry sherry can be used as a substitute.)
- 1 tablespoon Sesame oil (Enhances overall flavor.)
- 1 teaspoon Sugar (May substitute with agave or maple syrup.)
- 14 ounces Extra-firm tofu (Press before crumbling.)
- 2 cloves Garlic (Adjust to taste.)
- 1 tablespoon Minced ginger (Fresh ginger recommended.)
- 2 cups Shredded cabbage (Can substitute with leafy greens.)
- 1 cup Shredded carrot (Radishes can be a substitute.)
- 8 sheets Rice paper (Soak briefly before use.)
- 1 cup Dipping sauce (Soy sauce or spicy peanut sauce recommended.)
- 2 tablespoons Chopped green onion (Scallions work well too.)
Instructions
- Combine the soy sauce, shaoxing wine, sesame oil, and sugar in a small bowl. Stir and set aside.
- Crumble the tofu into a mince-like texture.
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté minced ginger and garlic until fragrant.
- Add cabbage and carrot, sauté until cabbage wilts, then add tofu and sauce.
- Cool the filling slightly, then stir in chopped green onions.
- Soak a rice paper sheet in warm water until pliable.
- Place the moistened rice paper on a damp surface and fill, then roll tightly.
- Arrange rolls in an air fryer basket lined with parchment paper.
- Spray rolls lightly with oil and air fry at 200°C (400°F) for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Serve with dipping sauce and enjoy!
