Description

Crispy Prosciutto Cheese Sliders are savory party bites that are easy to prepare. These crowd-pleasing mini snacks are perfect for gatherings and potlucks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 mini slider buns (brioche or potato rolls)
  • 8 slices prosciutto
  • 8 slices Gruyère, fontina, or provolone cheese
  • 4 tablespoons herbed cream cheese
  • 1 cup arugula leaves
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for toasting buns)
  • 2 tablespoons honey mustard or fig jam (optional glaze)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or chives
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 4 slices extra cheese (optional topping for extra melt)

Instructions

  1. Prepare toppings and preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly toast the slider buns in a skillet with a small amount of butter until golden and the edges smell nutty.
  3. Spread the herbed cream cheese or garlic-mayo on the inside of each bun half. If using honey mustard or fig jam, keep it thin.
  4. Layer a thin slice of cheese on the bottom half, followed by a few pieces of crispy prosciutto.
  5. Add a small handful of greens on top. Lightly season with salt and pepper.
  6. Top with the remaining cheese slice, crown with the bun top, and brush the tops with a little butter.
  7. Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet, spaced so they don’t touch. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes.
  8. For a faster finish, broil on high for 1–2 minutes, watching closely.
  9. Remove from the oven and let rest for 2–3 minutes to set the cheese.
  10. Serve warm with extra greens and an optional dipping sauce; garnish with fresh herbs.
