  • 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through. Drain excess fat and transfer the browned beef to your Crockpot.
  2. Add the diced onion, beef broth, crushed tomatoes, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the Crockpot. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, allowing the flavors to meld.
  4. With about 20-30 minutes remaining in the cooking time, break the lasagna noodles into bite-sized pieces and stir them into the soup. Continue cooking until the noodles are tender.
