This Easiest Party Appetizer Ever is fast, foolproof, and unbelievably delicious.
Ingredients

- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup red pepper jelly (or your favorite jam)
- 1 egg, beaten (for optional egg wash)
- Fresh chives or parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 20–24 small squares.
- Place each square onto the baking sheet.
- Add a small dollop of cream cheese to the center of each pastry square.
- Top with about 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper jelly.
- Fold the corners slightly inward or leave them open for a rustic look.
- Brush the edges with egg wash if using.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and puffed.
- Cool slightly, garnish with chopped herbs, and serve warm.
