Easy Pecan Pie: 5 Steps to a Foolproof, Delicious Dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and place your unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  3. Stir in pecan halves and pour the mixture into the crust, spreading pecans evenly.
  4. Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until the center is set and the crust is golden. Cover edges with foil if they brown too quickly.
  5. Cool completely before slicing for a perfectly set, gooey filling. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream!
