- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Season steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak bites to the skillet and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Add tortellini to the skillet. Cover and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
- Reduce heat and pour in heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Return steak bites to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic cream sauce.
- Simmer for 1–2 minutes to warm through. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
