Instructions
- Combine the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl – flour, instant yeast, and salt. Whisk together to ensure even distribution.
- Add in the warm water and olive oil, then mix with a wooden spoon until a shaggy dough forms. Switch to kneading with your hands until smooth and elastic, about 3-5 minutes.
- Cover the bowl with a damp kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let the dough rise in a warm spot for 45-60 minutes until doubled in size.
- Prepare the topping while the dough rises by combining minced garlic, chopped rosemary, olive oil, black pepper, and half the flaky salt in a small bowl.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and generously grease a 12-cup muffin tin with olive oil.
- Punch down the risen dough and divide it evenly among the muffin cups.
- Spoon the garlic-rosemary oil mixture onto each muffin, and sprinkle with remaining flaky sea salt and any optional add-ins.
