Instructions

  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture, then gradually mix in flour until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread softened butter on top. Sprinkle with cinnamon, remaining sugar, and raisins.
  6. Roll tightly from one edge to form a log, slice into equal pieces, and place in a greased baking dish.
  7. Cover and let rise again for about 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown.
