- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp light brown sugar
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger root, grated
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Slice flank steak thinly against the grain.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce and cornstarch until smooth; add beef and marinate.
- In another bowl, whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger for the sauce.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sauté marinated beef until browned but not fully cooked.
- Add green onions and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour sauce over beef mixture; cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens.
