Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (low sodium)
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Gochujang (red chili paste) or Sriracha (adjust to spice preference)
  • 4 pieces Pork Chops (boneless) (thick cuts recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Black Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and gochujang. Whisk until well blended. Pour this mixture over the pork chops and let them marinate for about 20 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully add the marinated pork chops (discarding the marinade) and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on one side until golden brown.
  4. Gently flip the pork chops and pour any remaining marinade over them. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Transfer the skillet directly into the oven and roast for about 5 to 10 minutes, or until the pork chops are fully cooked through.
  6. Once cooked, sprinkle with black pepper to taste and serve hot.
