Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla extract, salt, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Mix until fully combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. Gently fold into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
