Instructions
- Season the chicken pieces in a medium bowl by tossing with dried oregano, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- Add the seasoned chicken pieces to the hot skillet in a single layer.
- Cook the chicken for about 3-4 minutes without disturbing, then flip each piece and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the minced garlic, stirring constantly for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the fresh lemon juice to deglaze the pan, scraping up any flavorful brown bits.
- Sprinkle the lemon zest over everything and toss to coat all chicken pieces evenly.
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
