  • 1 cup powdered sugar, divided
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the softened butter and cream cheese together in a large bowl for about 2 minutes, until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the lemon zest, lemon juice, granulated sugar, eggs, lemon extract, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture. Beat for another 1-2 minutes.
  4. Whisk together the flour, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until combined.
  5. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
