Ingredients
Scale
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Stir in the pecan halves until evenly coated.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading pecans evenly on top.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, until the center is just set and the crust is golden brown.
- If the crust edges begin to brown too quickly, cover them with foil halfway through baking.
- Let the pie cool completely before serving for a perfect, sliceable texture.
