Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons Moroccan spice blend (cumin, coriander, cinnamon, paprika)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 sheets phyllo dough, thawed
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken, Moroccan spice blend, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink.
- Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean work surface. Brush with melted butter. Top with another sheet of phyllo and brush with more butter.
- Place 2-3 tablespoons of the spiced chicken mixture in the center of the phyllo sheets. Fold the phyllo over the filling, creating a triangle shape, and continue folding to create a triangular pastry.
- Place the Moroccan Spiced Chicken Briouats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
- Serve the Moroccan Spiced Chicken Briouats warm, with your favorite dipping sauce on the side.
