- 2 tablespoons butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
- In a large pot or deep skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, then stir in the Italian seasoning.
- Add the pasta, making sure it is mostly submerged. Bring to a simmer.
- Cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the sauce thickens.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
