Description
Soft, chewy Rice Krispie treats shaped into pops, dipped in chocolate, and decorated as festive reindeer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 tbsp butter
- 200 g mini marshmallows
- 4–5 cups (120 g) Rice Krispies
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 300 g milk chocolate or dark chocolate (melted)
- 12 candy-striped sticks or lollipop sticks
- 24 pretzels (cut in half for antlers)
- 12 red M&M’s or red chocolate candies (noses)
- 24 candy eyes
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot.
- Add mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla and salt.
- Add Rice Krispies and stir to coat evenly.
- Press mixture into a lined 20×20 cm pan.
- Let cool for 10 minutes.
- Cut into rectangles or squares.
- Insert a striped stick into the bottom of each piece.
- If mixture is sticky, lightly butter your fingers.
- Melt chocolate until smooth.
- Dip the bottom half of each Rice Krispie pop into the chocolate.
- Tap gently to remove excess.
- Lay on parchment to set.
- While chocolate is still soft, break pretzels in half and insert two pieces on top for antlers.
- Press two candy eyes onto the chocolate.
- Add one red M&M in the center.
- Let everything set for 10–15 minutes.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for freshness.
- These can be made a day in advance.
