- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream (Can be substituted with half-and-half for a lighter version.)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (Add at the end for creaminess.)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 12 ounces fettuccine pasta (Cook separately for best texture.)
Instructions
- Gather and prepare all your ingredients and cut the chicken breasts into manageable pieces.
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix the heavy cream, chicken broth, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper.
- Pour the cream mixture over the chicken and cover the slow cooker with its lid.
- Set the slow cooker to low and cook for approximately 6 hours.
- After cooking, remove the chicken and shred it using two forks.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese with the shredded chicken.
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the slow cooker with the chicken and sauce.
- Gently mix to coat the pasta in the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
