- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place your unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Stir in pecan halves and pour the filling into the pie crust, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 55–60 minutes, until the center is set and the top is golden. Cover edges with foil if they brown too fast.
- Cool completely before slicing. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for the perfect Southern finish!
