Description

This Easy Southern Pecan Pie is sweet, buttery, and full of toasted pecans — the ultimate holiday treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place your unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  3. Stir in pecan halves and pour the filling into the pie crust, spreading evenly.
  4. Bake for 55–60 minutes, until the center is set and the top is golden. Cover edges with foil if they brown too fast.
  5. Cool completely before slicing. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for the perfect Southern finish!
