Description
Thanksgiving Turkey Cheese Board Cozy Party Platter Ideas
Ingredients
Scale
- 400 g roast turkey slices
- 1 wheel soft Brie or Camembert (about 225 g)
- 200 g aged cheddar, Gouda, or Manchego, cut for sharing
- 150 g herbed cream cheese or whipped goat cheese
- 120 g fig jam or cranberry chutney
- Crackers and/or baguette slices, about 200 g total
- 200 g fresh grapes
- 2 medium apples, sliced
- 150 g pomegranate seeds
- 100 g walnut halves or almonds
- 6–8 fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs, for garnish
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Pinch flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Set out a large wooden board or a few rustic platters. If you’re using a photo-worthy board, lay down a parchment or slate base to anchor the arrangement. Begin by placing the cheeses as anchor points, then position the turkey slices in loose stacks to invite easy picking.
- Arrange the brie and cheddar in small wedges or rounds, leaving space for a generous smear of herb cream cheese.
- Scatter turkey slices around the cheeses, folding or rolling pieces for height so the board looks abundant from every angle.
- Dot cranberry chutney or fig jam in small dollops around the board.
- Fill in gaps with fruit slices, nuts, and a few olive picks or small spoons for jams.
- Finish with a light drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of flaky sea salt across the board. Add thyme sprigs for fragrance and a rustic touch.
- Let the board rest for 10–15 minutes before serving, giving flavors a moment to mingle.
- Offer a simple bright drink, such as a dry sparkling wine or a light cider, to complement the board.
