- 12 King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sheet Rolls
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Chopped parsley and chili flakes for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and place the garlic cloves in a small baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, and cover with foil. Roast for 15-20 minutes until soft and golden.
- Add the roasted garlic to a mixing bowl and mash. Add the melted butter, egg, milk, salt, paprika, and chopped parsley, and whisk until smooth.
- Place the Hawaiian rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cut a crosshatch pattern on top without cutting all the way through.
- Spread the garlic butter custard evenly over the rolls, ensuring it seeps into the cuts.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes at 375°F (190°C) until the cheese is melted and edges are golden brown.
- Garnish with additional chopped parsley and chili flakes before serving.
