- ¾ cup milk

- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Heat about 2 inches of oil in a deep skillet or saucepan to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk egg, milk, and vanilla.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and whisk until smooth and thick.
- Transfer batter to a piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner snipped off.
- Pipe small rounds of batter into the hot oil.
- Fry for 1–2 minutes per side, until golden brown and puffed.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Dust generously with powdered sugar while warm.
