- 1 tablespoon McKay’s Chicken Seasoning (can substitute with poultry seasoning)
- 1/4 cup Pecan Meal (may substitute with almond meal)
- 1/4 cup Oil (any neutral oil like canola)
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice (substitute with vinegar if needed)
- 2 tablespoons Corn Starch (can replace with arrowroot starch)
- 2 cups Special K Cereal (use gluten-free options if needed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9 x 13 inch pan with non-stick spray.
- Sauté the diced onion in vegan butter until translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
- Crumble the tofu into a large mixing bowl after draining it well.
- Combine the crumbled tofu with quick oats, Bragg’s Aminos, flour, McKay’s chicken seasoning, pecan meal, oil, lemon juice, corn starch, and Special K cereal.
- Fold in the sautéed onions gently, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes until the top is golden brown and firm to touch.
