Ingredients

- 1 lb white American cheese, cubed or shredded
- 1/2 cup whole milk (more if needed)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies, undrained
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- Salt, to taste
- Optional: chopped jalapeños, cayenne pepper, cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Warm milk and heavy cream in a saucepan over medium-low heat until hot but not boiling.
- Slowly add white American cheese, whisking until fully melted and smooth.
- Stir in diced green chilies, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin.
- Add a splash of milk if you want a thinner dip.
- Add salt as needed. Garnish with jalapeños, cilantro, or cayenne.
- Transfer to a bowl or fondue pot and serve warm with chips or veggies.
