Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons brewed coffee, cooled
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Add the warm milk, eggs, and softened butter. Using a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment, knead the dough until it forms a smooth, elastic ball, about 5-7 minutes.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough to release any air bubbles. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape each into a smooth ball.
- Place the dough balls in a greased 9×13 inch baking pan. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brush the tops of the dough balls with the cooled brewed coffee.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
