Description
A festive and healthy holiday treat made with fresh fruits arranged in a wreath shape.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bunch of red grapes (about 2 cups)
- 1 bunch of green grapes (about 2 cups)
- 1 pint strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 3–4 kiwis, peeled and sliced
- 1 large apple, diced (red or green variety)
- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds (optional for garnish)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (to keep the fruit fresh)
Instructions
- Start by washing all your fruits thoroughly. Hull and slice the strawberries, peel and slice the kiwis, and dice the apple. If you’re using pomegranate seeds, remove them from the pomegranate and set them aside.
- Place a large serving platter or round tray on a flat surface. Begin by arranging the fruit in a circular, wreath-like shape. Start with a base layer of grapes (both red and green) and build around it with the other fruits, like kiwis, strawberries, and apple slices.
- Once you’ve arranged the fruit in a wreath shape, drizzle it with honey or maple syrup (if using), and sprinkle the top with pomegranate seeds and fresh mint leaves for an extra touch of color and flavor.
- This Christmas Wreath Fruit Salad is best served immediately, but it can also be stored in the fridge for a few hours before serving. If you plan to store it, cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Add the mint leaves and honey drizzle just before serving.
