Ingredients

1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
2 cups sweet corn (fresh or frozen)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Boil water in a large pot. If using fresh corn on the cob, add it and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. For frozen corn, follow package instructions.
After removing the corn, blanch the green beans in the same boiling water for 3-4 minutes until bright green.
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Stir in lime juice and season with salt and pepper.
Drain corn and green beans well.
In a serving bowl, toss them together with the lime butter until evenly coated.
Serve warm, drizzling any extra lime butter over the top.
